DESCRIPTIONOur multinational client operating in the service sector is looking for a CHIEF ACCOUNTANT for the following tasks:- To provide Hungarian statutory and US GAAP accounting support, conduct necessary statutory reporting and conduct regular reconciliation of US GAAP and Hungarian statutory accounting records. - Effectively supervise a team of accountants and financial analysts. - Ensures full compliance with statutory tax reporting. - Manages US GAAP and corporate SOX reporting activities. - Supervises Company's payroll and other administrative activities. - Ensures the ledgers (both Hungarian and US GAAP) are current and accurate. - Manages the Company's operating licenses. - Prepares all statutory reports, Balance Sheet, Income Statement.REQUIREMENTS- Must be a registered certified accountant. - Has to have considerable knowledge of finance and accounting procedures based on experience and education in finance and accounting (5 years experience in accounting including 3 years of team management). - Possesses a College degree or University degree. - Ability to work in a Team environment both within Finance and with other Departments. - Good motivator, has a drive for improvement - High level of initiative and motivation to ensure that processes are continuously improved and utilized to their fullest capability. - Ability to effectively utilize computer technology. - Good command of the Hungarian and English languages and effective general communication skills with associates.BENEFITS- Multinational environment- Competitive compensation packageOTHER INFORMATIONIf you would like to apply for this job, please send us your curriculum vitae both in Hungarian and English.
