DESCRIPTIONOn behalf of our multinational client we are currently looking for a new college to join their team in the following position:Accounting Manager Tasks:- Meets corporate deadlines as relevant- Prepare VAT-filings, monthly VAT-calculation; review incoming/outgoing invoice list, review exchange rates, EU VAT-numbers, upload documentation - Prepare reports for state organizations (KSH, MNB)- Coordination and active participation in statutory audit & prepare annual reports- Coordinating monthly closing processes and reconciliation of general ledger accounts- Control intercompany accounts, check Exchange and Reval accounts on extra-ordinary movements- Daily supervision and guidance of the Corporate Card Program Administrators and Accounting Specialists- Establish and maintain Accounting policies and procedures - Work closely with Worldwide Compliance & Controls to ensure strong SOX compliance- Liaise with the VP Controller/Managing Director on all aspects of the global Accounting processes, account reconciliation and daily issues as they arise- Assist in internal and external audits- Special projects as called upon by managementREQUIREMENTS- Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably in the Entertainment Industry- College or University degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics;- Certified Accountant qualification;- Experience managing and developing an accounting staff- Up-to-date insight into the current Hungarian regulations in accounting;- Excellent English language communication and writing skills;- Previous experience working in a multination Global Shared Services Center environment is an advantage;- Knowledge of financial analysis, US GAAP, Hungarian GAAP.
