DESCRIPTIONFor our prestigious multinational client we are currently looking for an Information Governance Manager.Job Function:- To take a lead role in delivering engagements, create relationships with senior client staff, develop business opportunities, build and mentor team and provide leadership and direction for our advisory function.Profile:This position requires experience and expertise in following aspects of Information Governance: - Development and implementation of Information Governance Strategy, Policy and Action Plan.- Achievement of Information Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.- Delivered legislative and regulatory & other compliance requirements with respect to Information.- Delivered requisite guidelines for Records Management and assurance of Information Quality- Has experience across all the elements of Information Governance Lifecycle (Creation / Approval; Metadata; Classification; Distribution; Consumption / Exploitation; Records; Retention / Disposal)- Runs elements of practice development alongside engagement management. - Builds networks around the firm and starts to develop leads from those relationships. - Identifies opportunities, leads development of a sales proposition and leads client delivery. - Work closely with Partners and Directors to sell/deliver and lead advisory services projects. - Run large projects or multiple smaller projects and is accountable for quality of output. - Expand value-added services to existing clients by capitalizing on opportunities within and across lines of service.- Create an environment in which the team is empowered to continuously improve client service and the advisory service offerings.REQUIREMENTS- 7 to 10+ years of professional work experience either with a consulting organization or as a senior leader within a corporate function responsibility. - Exposure to Oil and Gas sector preferred.- Excellent written and oral English communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills.- Strong people manager, able to lead small teams and develop others.- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage an engagement team in complex projects.- Credibility at senior levels as an advisor to senior management and executives.- Experience working in difficult circumstances delivering substantive, measurable operational improvements in complex businesses.- University degree, with MBA - Relevant certifications such as PMP
