DESCRIPTIONFor our multinational client, operating in the field of production for multiple industries, including automotive, furniture and appliance, we are currently looking for a Plant Controller.Tasks:- Work with many different aspects of the finance process, i.e. cost accounting, general ledger, quoting, price negotiation, GAAP, internal control.- Work on the manufacturing floor to better understand operating processes, help determine and correct issues, improve processes, and create or maintain successful programs.- Work with manufacturing units to help set and achieve profitability goals.REQUIREMENTS- Experience with process innovations and a perpetual drive toward learning - Possess strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision making skills- Proven results towards continuous improvements and a consistent progression in roles and responsibilities - Must be an independent self starter and capable of working with minimum supervision- Proven leadership ability and desire to work in a team based atmosphere - Demonstrated ability to analyze information and create change in a team setting- 3+ years of accounting / business experience in a manufacturing environment- CPA or MBA is a plus, but not a requirementBENEFITS- Innovative company- Wide range of responsibilities- Competitive compensation package
