DESCRIPTIONOur client is one of the world's leading financial institutions. In the Budapest based developer centre we are looking for a DATA MANAGEMENT GROUP MANAGERThe team is responsible for legal entity data processing, which includes validating and maintaining external legal entity data and documentation for client business originating from the securities group. The team focus is to manage the data quality program that underpins all of the processes managed by the team.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsibility for performance of various functions within the team as allocated - Carry out tasks related to the job in accordance with the instructions of their manager - Organize own day to day tasks per functional procedures to ensure all priority tasks are completed to deadline specifically using the appropriate systems and tools - Review weekly figures against designated metrics and provide status on reportable items where required - Identify risk issues, escalate where appropriate & provide assistance in resolving - Actively ensure upwards, downward & peer communication of developments and issues facilitate problem solving - Deal with regular queries from internal clients - Communicate with immediate team members on a day to day issues, business process improvement, ideas and results - Take responsibility for more complex transactions and functions in the team - Create, improve and maintain written procedures - Re-align resources and create cross functional teams to mitigate risk and to benefit the franchise - Identify inefficiencies in on boarding processes and partner with management - Perform user acceptance testing - Review and respond y to exception reports and management reports - Cover all aspects of people management including recruitment, training and performance management - Provide structured training, succession planning and career development for team members - Set team goals and encourage efficiencies through changes to work processesREQUIREMENTSTHe ideal candidate's profile shall include: - At least 5 years experience with managing remote report teams - Strong numeracy and analytical skills - Strong writing skills, with experience in writing operational or regulatory-related procedures - Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills - Ability to execute independently, meet deadlines and motivate subordinates to execute timely and at a high level of quality - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications - Ability to interact effectively with others across departments, regions and time zones - Project management experience is beneficial - Previous employment in a global organization is also beneficial - High level English is a must.
