DESCRIPTIONYour main responsibility is to provide occupational medicine services to one of our most prestigious multinational clients in Budapest working in conjunction with the Occupational Health Manager and giving functional guidance to nursing staff.Tasks:- Perform regular medical occupational health exams according to local regulation as well as ExxonMobil requirements- Undertake clinical duties such as case management, injury management, and disability reviews that need physician input i.e. go beyond capabilities of nursing staff- Provide line management with advice on occupational health matters- Participate in emergency preparedness and response role including membership of business line emergency support teams at sites and availability to respond 24/7 to provide such support as well as 'real time' injury management- Provides business travel services s- Undertake training to learn special corporate guidelines and procedures regarding occupational health and industrial hygieneREQUIREMENTSThe successful candidate should have the following attributes:- Mid-career in the field of occupational medicine (also early career with strong interest and focus in occupational health)- Licensed (or eligible to obtain license) in Hungary- Preferably experience of working in industry for at least 2 years e.g. in manufacturing- The candidate must have awareness of the demands made on an occupational health service by a corporation and be able to manage and positively respond to these accordingly- Sound 'practitioner' of occupational medicine who fully understands the differences that exist between occupational medicine and other specialties- Good technical knowledge of occupational medicine and familiarity with industrial hygiene principles and practice.- Good communication skills - persuasive; assertive- Comfortable with the administrative and management aspects of the jobBENEFITS- Highly competitive package- Full-time employment- Professional development and international career opportunities
